Timely Presence was founded by Kelly Edmondson, MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC — a nurse executive, grief-informed advocate, and mother who lost her son, Darius, in 2023. In the months that followed, Kelly experienced firsthand how grief support often fades after the funeral — even though the ache of loss remains.

Guided by her professional background and her personal loss, Kelly sought certification in grief counseling — ensuring Timely Presence is built on both empathy and expertise.

Through her own journey, Kelly saw a common challenge: people want to help, but don’t always know how to show up beyond the first days of sympathy. That insight became the foundation of Timely Presence — a year-long sympathy gifting service designed to help people offer meaningful ongoing support through thoughtfully timed memorial gifts.
